Spider-Man: Homecoming IMAX Review

Good Afternoon Lovelies,

There have been three Spider-Man actors since I was born. These include Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and now the best of all Tom Holland!

After having his first appearance in Captain American: Civil War, the film continues on from those events to show how Peter Parker comes to terms with his new powers. Unlike the others, there is a certain charm coating this film, which I think is all down to Holland's charm.

Bringing Parker to life to fight off the evil Vulture, played by Michael Keaton, Holland actually seems like he is loving every minute of being the superhero. Added comedy and mid-film twists, keep him on his toes and Robert Downey Jr's Iron Man, makes him stand out.

In eye-catching IMAX 3D, the character brings mischief and mayhem with witty comebacks to his school life. Learning how to control his power, whilst also searching for crime around New York, Peter finds himself falling into the wrong hands, whilst also trying to keep his new superhero identity a secret from friends and family.

Holland knows how to make audiences enjoy seeing the character being placed on screen for the third time around and his way seems to be the best way. Perfectly placed opposite Keaton, their partnership on screen was a perfect display of actors knowing how to bounce off each other. Keaton's characters evil ways show the innocence of Holland's Spider-Man, as he grows in confidence to fight serious crime.

Plus, with added talent including Zendaya, as Michelle and his best friend Ned, the world is brought together with lots of smiles.

Marvel have been making their films lighter recently. With the much loved Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2, family and music mixed together, whilst in the upcoming Thor feature and in Spider-Man: Homecoming these themes continue. All of which that have laughter and love mixed in with their madness!

And places that some filmmakers would have been afraid to go to. But not in this one and that is why it is so good! Marvel have tackled the story well for their first time adventuring into the world of Spider-Man and Homecoming is just the birth of what they can do.

These connections and themes are what are leading us into the end of the Avengers series, but one thing is for sure that this isn't the end of Peter Parker's story. Holland will definitely be back in this role soon if audience’s voices are listened to.

As the familiar faces retire from their life of fighting crime, Holland and Parker are bringing fresh stories, faces and ideas to the Marvel world. In a world of Guardians, Wonder Women and more, we are proud to host this new Spider-Man!

This is why I am giving it...
