Aquarius DVD Review

07:30:00

Good Morning Lovelies,

Arrow Academy have started to build up their own collection of classics recently, including the release of Aquarius, which is out today on DVD and Blu-ray for the first time ever!

Following Clara, a 65-year-old widow, the film captures her as she becomes the last person to live in Aquarius, a two-story building built in the 1940s. With many buildings surrounding her being brought by companies, Clara refuses to leave her home, marking that the only time she will is when she dies. This leads to a war with the company and a trip down memory lane for the character, as she remembers moments with her families both in the past and present.

As many people face this issue in real life, the story and film is one that featured not only the audience who first experienced it, but the modern one that is having the same problems. The story is still fresh and it will make audiences think hard about their own lives and the memories the place they live in have.

Capturing a beautiful place with the heart of family, love and adventure is one that could get cheesy or to over the top, but this film is not one of them. It keeps the levels of heart and joy just right, by mixing in distress and heart ache at the same time.

There so I am giving it...
