Good Morning Lovelies,

Sometimes when a book gets turned into a film it is pure magic. Then there are the times when the books are not given justice enough to have been made into a film.

In L.M. Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables, a TV film based on the best-selling book, there is a lot of moments that are great and then there are times when it is hard to actually watch.

Starring Martin Sheen, the TV film is a cute adaptation of the book but it feels as though the film has been changed too much and there so it doesn’t stand out to audiences as much as others have. There is a sense of loss throughout, because the words that we have become so familiar with isn’t there anymore.

Very sweet but also very draggy, the film doesn’t bring anything new to the table and it is hard to watch at time, as the young character changes a lot and makes the story lose a bit of its charm.
