The Curse Of Sleeping Beauty DVD Review

07:00:00

Good Morning Lovelies,

Many people know the story of Sleeping Beauty, whether it is the Disney version or the Brothers Grimm story, there is no way you can escape from it. However, the new film, The Curse of Sleeping Beauty, makes the gothic elements of the story pop out in a way never been shown before.

Almost like a horror film mixed in with a teenage feel, the film sees Thomas Kaiser move into his family’s mansion only to find that it has been cursed. Forced to work to protect the house, Thomas must make sure that the home is safe whilst also looking at Briar Rose, who has been held captive.

Although the film is very interesting in the new way that it captures characters, there is something it lacks. There are many drawn out moments and times where there is stuff added that doesn’t need to be added.

It makes for hard viewing at times and kills the Sleeping Beauty story, where you hope and pray for the character to be saved. In this one, you just hope and pray for the story to pick up a bit.

There so I am giving it...
