JOIN IN WITH HEINZ AND GROW YOUR OWN TOMATOES THIS SPRING...

09:59:00

Good Morning Lovelies,

Okay so I am going to admit to you all that this is probably the most random post I have ever done on the blog, but as someone who enjoys walking around London I was really happy to see something like this happening and wanted to share it with you all.

For the fourth year running, Heinz have come together to ask families to join them as they bring back their ‘Grow Your Own’ project lovelies. This means that by planting Heinz tomato seeds, families will be able to make their own ketchup that could win them some amazing prices.

Taking inspiration from the new miniature gardens that have been created and placed around the UK by gardener, Steve Wheen, the campaign tells the story of the start of Heinz ketchup and the way they make the world famous ketchup. You lovelies can spot these gardens in Manchester, Cardiff, Brighton, Bristol and Birmingham, so keep an eye out for them and get inspired!

Speaking about the project, Chris Isaac, Brand Manager for Heinz Tomato Ketchup said “Through the ‘Grow Your Own’ campaign we’re spurring on families to get involved with planting tomato seeds themselves and with the competition this year there’s an added incentive to get planting. We’re really excited to see the results from this and hopefully the winner will be delighted with the outcome.”

All you lovelies need to do to get involved lovelies is upload your pictures to www.facebook.com/HeinzUK and you could win a special version of the classic glass bottle filled with your home grown Heinz Tomato Ketchup, complete with a unique personalised label or a runners up prize including watering cans, wheelbarrows, trowels and gardening gloves and more lovelies.

So go on, get involved!
