MEET PURSUIT DELANGE REVIEW...

Hey Lovelies,

A few weeks ago I was contacted about interviewing the director Howard Webster about his Raindance Film Festival piece, ‘Meet Pursuit Delange’ and after posting the interview lovelies, which can be found here: http://letsstartwiththisone.blogspot.co.uk/2015/10/i-spoke-to-director-howard-webster.html?spref=tw, I was very kindly asked if I would like to watch the film.

Following Pursuit, the film introduces him when his life is taking a turn of the worst, as he turns to his friends to help get him through the tough times. Even though they are sometimes more of a problem than a help to him. With high powered musical numbers and dances the film though is like nothing we have seen before in the situations in which they are in.

With an incredible British cast taking the reins in the film, including Jason Felmyng, the film has provided audiences with the best faces to match the plot, due to their incredible talents. After being a huge success at the festival, it is easy to see why, because the characters place you in the hearts of their lives, and there is nothing holding them back once they have done.

You can see the amount of hard work and passion that has gone into making the film, as the director has obviously worked hard to make sure that the characters and the location are given the amount of love in which they need to convey the messages and emotions in which they do.

There is a witty flow to the film, much of which is played out in the musical lyrics within the film that allows the audience to see the serious yet funny sides to the characters’ lives. They don’t stop the audience from coming in; in fact they allow them to be more on the same side with the characters and what they are going through.

Speaking of the music within the film, the tunes are continuously catchy, especially the theme song, as they get stuck in your head and make you want to sing along with the cast. This is where the stars really get the chance to shine, as they portray the songs and dances on screen in the best ways possible.

Overall though the film is a great look at both the city and the people within it, as Pursuit takes us on his own personal journey with different characters and situations. They are events that you can easily imagine happening at times. If only they came with the films songs, life's mishaps would be a lot better.

Therefore I am giving the film…

4 Stars
