16:44:00

Hey Lovelies,

Sorry for the delay in posts today I ran off to work out and I am also getting back into the swing of things after the weekend! It is weird what an extra day can do to the brain isn’t it aha! We need one of these again very soon!

As many of you know I look forward to hearing about not only the big films that are hitting our screens, but also the small indie films in which people are making to showcase their incredible filmmaking talents. And today I have heard about a film called ‘Little Pieces’ which has been inspired by the earlier pieces from Shane Meadows and has been a hit to all of those shown it already.

This social drama film, follows two men who are about to collide with the world in which they are in, as their violent partnership comes to a halt as an incident takes place that will change their lives forever.

The film was made and finalised for £6000 lovelies and has been a project that will cause the director to be a huge success. To find out more lovelies click here: www.facebook.com/littlepiecesfilm

And if you would like to know my thoughts on the film, then take a look at my review below…

When I first put the film on I wasn’t quite sure what was happening and I had this feeling for a little bit more of it, however the actors and the characters interested me enough to want to watch it and find out what they were all going through and how their lives were about to be changed.

As a whole the plot was very original and it focused highly on issues in which people would be able to relate to, as it capture the gritty British feeling that films have tried and failed to do so, in an affective and interesting manner, which ultimately came down to the acting within the film.

The three leading characters have a lot of information that they hold back for a long time and the different ways in which they interact with each other makes you want to keep watching as they continue to bring out something new and undiscovered within the film.

Ultimately though the true magic behind this film has to be the directing. It is easy to see what the director was trying to convey and as a small budget film, you feel like you are watching something that should have a bigger audience. It captures the true magic of a filmmaker’s passion and the emotions he makes his actors go through are intriguing to the viewer.

Therefore I am giving the film…

4 Stars

Definitely look this film up lovelies! It would be great to see this on a big screen!
