THE BFI HOSTS THEIR OWN ELECTION PARTY...

19:32:00

Hey Lovelies,

I am so in the mood to work tonight! I have this need to blog and it is not going anywhere soon! It could be because I had a DVD shop today and I will be enjoying the delights of ‘Seven Brides For Seven Brothers’ very soon! Whoop!

But before that I have some election news with a difference to share with you from the BFI, as they have announced a new collection of over 60 films called ‘Never Mind The Ballots’, which shows a different side to many elections, including vintage broadcasts and a episode of ‘The Clangers’ which was shown in 1974 to work alongside the election. Other films featured in the collection are, ‘All the Winners!’  ‘And the Losers’ (1923), ‘Lady Tweedsmuir MP in a brief talk about Politics’ and ‘Your Money’s Worth’.

After working with each other for many years, this collection comes at a time when the public are in a decisive state about how they want to be run. With most of the films in this collection being free, they offer those who are unsure a place to seek information from not only the films but also the TV archives.

Blog Soon,
Joey X
