Hello My Lovely's, I am so excited to present this film to you all as I am the biggest Lego fan ever! At the moment my bedroom houses a few members of the Avengers Lego set as we are collecting them aha. WHOOP WHOOP!!!
This is where my fan girl moment is displayed for all to see, as we talk about the new film from the best toy in the world! Follow Emmet, an ordinary LEGO minifigure, as he embarks on saving the world after a huge mistake is made which makes him seem to be the most extraordinary person ever. Emmet is soon placed in the fellowship of strangers, as they take on the biggest quest of their lives to stop an evil tyrant, which he is definitely underprepared for! Directed by Phil Lord, Chris Miller and Chris McKay and starring Chris Pratt,Will Ferrell, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Will Arnett, Elizabeth Banks, Nick Offerman and Alison Brie, this incredible cast are about to give us the first-ever full length theatrical Lego film, that many people like myself are very excited over. However we will have to wait a while for it as it doesn't hit cinemas until the 14th February 2014! But don't worry because I am going to give you something to look at while we wait! To start off I think we should all meet Emmet, the minifigure who is going to be helping us all in saving the world. Let's say hello...
And if that isn't enough I have some very exciting stills for you all too! Let's take a look...

Hello My Lovely's, We only have a week to wait until the UK Jewish Film Festival opens for its 17th year! Starting on the 30th of October the festival will host a packed programme of films, events and cinematic magic! The festival will feature over 80 films and other special events across London, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester. 53 of the films will be UK premieres, coming from countries all over the world including Argentina, Israel, USA, UK, Germany, France and the Czech Republic.
Comedy is hitting the festival hard this year with 'Blumenthal' starring Brian Cox as well as 'Afternoon Delight' (Find My Review Below) which are both ones to watch! Females are also leaving their mark on the festival this year from award-winning writer/director Lucia Puenzo presenting her thriller 'Wakolda', a film which was a massive hit at Cannes and Toronto; as well as Tracie Holder, the director of the documentary 'Joe Papp In Five Acts'. New Israeli cinema is presenting 'The Congress' at the festival; Yariv Horowitz’s 'Rock The Casbah' and 'Big Bad Wolves' which has been named by Tarantino as the best film of the year! Along with the 53 films that will be showing there will also be 27 documentaries on display this year, including a piece on the London filmmaker Marc Isaacs, award-winning 'Art/Violence' about the Freedom Theatre founded by Juliano Mer-Khamis and 'Dancing In Jaffa' about one man’s determination to teach Palestinian and Israeli school children to dance together. The festival is also a new VOD Channel this year with those lovely people over at Think Jam which can be found at the link below...
If you are interesting in purchasing tickets for the festival or seeing more of the films available go to the link below, where you will be able to find everything...
See what I mean when I said Arrow Film have been busy today aha! I am now happy to announce that they are also releasing on DVD this time, the cult classic 'Pin'!
When close siblings Leon and Ursula lose their parents in a tragic car accident, they inherit their fathers medical dummy 'Pin'.
Pin has been treated like a member of the family by Leon, however their relationship starts to turn sinister, as the Dummy starts wearing their father’s suits and terrorising the house guests.
Ursula soon begins to fear for her brother’s sanity, as the dummy is just a dummy! Right?
The film is meant to be a huge cult hit from the 80's but I am going to be honest and say I have never seen or heard of it before. If you have seen it before let me know what you thought about it and I might just watch it, but for now I am not sure it is a film I would want to.
Those lovely people over at Arrow Films have been busy this week! This is the first of two films that I am going to be talking to you about and I think many of you will want to see it when I say who the director is! Especially with the run up to Halloween! Wes Craven's, 'The People Under The Stairs' is going to be released in the UK for the first time ever on the 4th of November!
Speaking out on the films Blu-Ray release, Arrow Video’s Ewan Cant stated, “As a huge Wes Craven fan, it was a dream come true to be able to work on the first ever Blu-ray release of The People Under the Stairs. Released in 1991, a few years before Wes Craven’s name would become synonymous with the Scream franchise, The People Under the Stairs is one film in the director’s resume which all but passed me by first time around: a fact which has made revisiting this movie all the more of a revelation. The People Under the Stairs is a real gem of early 90s horror which weaves gruesome visuals and pitch black comedy into a grim fairy tale for the ages – and with our new Blu-ray release, Craven fans get to see the film looking better than ever before! I was especially pleased that we were able to include on the disc an insightful interview with the great director himself, alongside engaging interviews with stars Sean Whalen (“Roach”) and A.J. Langer (“Alice”). Rounded off with some suitably grisly new cover art from the inimitable Stephen R. Bissette, this package represents the perfect Halloween treat!” From the man who brought you 'The Last House on the Left', you can all expect that the house he is about to invite you, is definitely not going to be chosen as the next model show home! The house within this one is the house children avoid and adults don't speak of but for 'Fool', a kid who believes he is streetwise, the house is just a way at getting back at his landlord. However what begins as a routine break in, ends up being the cause of nightmares, as Fool finds himself trapped in a world of terrifying secrets that have been lurking under the walls and stairs of the house for years. Now as we all know when you buy an Arrow Films film, you definitely get your money back due to all the incredible special features that haven't been seen before. And this disc is not going to let you down...
Director Wes Craven discusses the terrors of 'The People Under the Stairs'
Leading Lady A.J. Langer remembers 'The People Under the Stairs'
Co-Star Sean Whalen on 'The People Under the Stairs'
Jeffrey Reddick, creator of the Final Destination series, speaks of the lasting impact 'The People Under the Stairs' made.
Collector's booklet featuring new writing on the film with original archive stills.
This film has been over looked by many for Craven's more well-known horrors but from the sounds of it, it sounds like a horror film I would love! I have a big thing for all of the original horrors such as 'Carrie', 'The Nightmare On Elm Street', 'Scream', 'Halloween' and I might just have to have a look at this one for this year's Halloween film night aha!
Hello My Lovely's, I am going to start with an apology! I had read on a form sent to me that 'Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues' would be out on the 14th of December, however I have been told today that this is wrong and the film can be expected on out cinema screens on the 20th of December! So to make up for my mistake I have the brand new trailer for the film, which was released today to share with all of you :) Enjoy...
Hello My Lovely's, So if I say 'It's Kind Of A Big Deal', will you all get excited please aha! I am happy to announce the return of the best news team in the world and their leading man! Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner and Christina Applegate, all return to make sure that we are getting the biggest news of the 80's in style!
With the 70's behind him, Ron Burgundy is returning to the news desk. Not only is he keeping San Diego 'Classy' but his bringing along his wife Veronica Corningstone, weather man Brick, man about town Brian and the sports guy Champ! However it's not always easy to keep it classy when you are working the 24 hour news!
To give you a little taste of what you have to look forward to here is a small report from the man himself...
And of course the trailer for the film...
I love the fact that this film is coming out around the time I finish for Christmas as I will probably be sick of all the Journalism lectures by that point and will be needing to see some funny news stories (Of course we all pray will stay fictional aha) to keep me going! The film is out on the 20th of December and I can promise you all I will be reviewing the film when it is out at cinemas, as I am sure it is a film my group of friends will be dying to go and see!
So there is a brand new feature on the blog! Anyone noticed

Hello My Lovely's, Tomorrow sees the release of 'Bad Grandpa' in cinemas everywhere and I have a little treat for all of you to enjoy until then! A brand new trailer! This brand new R-Rated trailer of the film means not all of you can watch it, but for those who can take a look...
Hello My Lovely's, I read a lot of newspapers for my journalism course and as always my attention is always drawn to the entertainment section, involving the reviews and TV schedule! This was when I saw all the reports about people not liking the series this time as it had lost its spark that the others had. Well I am always one to disagree and this is definitely not going to stop me! In the past two episodes we have seen Carrie return back to the great figure she was in the first series when she was looking for answers, which she is doing again in this series. People need to think about the way in which an actor can lose that edge and for me Claire Danes has not, which proves she is working hard to make the return back to what she is known best for and what makes her the best actress is television! And now for the best news ever! BRODY IS BACK! Episode 3 saw the return of probably my favourite character. I like all of you, am not completely sure whether he bombed the event or not but I can honestly say I don't think he did. He just seemed to have to such little time on his hands to do something like that. Damien Lewis has been missed by many since the series started and it is a good job he is back! With Dana being criticised heavily by everyone (Not me by the way I quite like her) and Saul being even more complex than before it was a very clever idea to bring back the man who while on the show he makes conflict, actually when you think about it brings everything together to give a settled outlook to the viewer. As for the plot lines I think all of what we have seen in the past two episodes will help us understand the rest of it, so people just chill out and watch the new episodes with joy because Brody is back and it is about to get good!

In the words of the man himself, "When do we start?"
So its nearing the end of the weekend (Hold's back tears)
and I wanted to end it on a massive high with a brand new film. Those lovely
people over at Think Jam and Studiocanal, have provided us with this film, so
everyone go and spread some love to them over on Twitter aha!
From the director of 'Unknown', Jaume Collet-Serra brings
together an all-star cast including Liam Neeson, Julianne Moore and Michelle
Dockery, in brand new action thriller, 'Non - Stop'.
Neeson plays Bill Marks, an Air Marshals service veteran who views every assignment like a desk job in the sky. However today’s journey is will not be as easy!
Only a short way into a journey from New York to London, Bill finds himself face to face with the most dangerous mission of all time. After receiving a string of mysterious text messages Bill is ordered to make the government transfer $150 million into a secret account, or a passenger will die every 20 minutes!
Non-Stop is due to be released onto your cinema screens on the 28th of February next year, so keep an eye out for more information about it.
But for now I hope I can give you a little treat while you wait with a few new stills and of course the trailer :)

But hold your horses for about 2 minutes! I have one final clip to share with you all to celebrate the release! Take a look at 'Snail Race'...
If you go and see the film this weekend let me know what you thought on Twitter @LetsStartNow18 and I will retweet them :)
Hello My Lovely's, I have another new film for all of you :) This one comes from Twentieth Century Fox and is called 'Devil's Due'. The film has been described as a mix between 'Rosemary's Baby' and 'Paranormal Activity', which director Matt Bettinelli-Olpin seems very proud of! Based on a newly-wed couple, Zach and his wife Samantha are left wondering what happened after they mysterious lose a night of their Honeymoon, which leads to a mysterious unplanned pregnancy. It isn't long before Zach is wondering what really happened on that night, as his wife suddenly changes, as the dark, sinister elements take over her body. Shot in the form of 'Found Footage', the film is from a first person perspective of the lead character, Zach, as well in the form of hidden and surveillance cameras. Now I have a very exciting new trailer for the film and any Twilight fans reading this blog, I think you will agree with me when I say that the stomach scenes are very similar to the birth scene in 'Breaking Dawn'...
The film is due out in February next year, so definitely keep an eye out for the new horror that is set to rock up our screens.
Hello My Lovely’s, So as I told you guys a couple of weeks ago I have been chosen to cover the UK Jewish Film Festival this year! And a couple of days ago I was asked if there was any films I wished to review and I chose the film ‘Afternoon Delight’, directed by Jill Soloway who was awarded the Directing Award at the Sundance Film Festival 2013 for the same film. I was a bit shocked at the film to be honest as I wasn’t expecting so many sexual aspects within it, as I believed it was going to be a comedy of some sort, about the lack of sex in the couples relationship, which would have lead to some funny moments, like ‘Zack and Miri Make A Porno’. Although instead it was a little uncomfortable to watch at times, but you could tell that the director had tried to make the focus seem a little comedic, but not a lot to settle its audience enough. Kathryn Hahn plays Rachel, a struggling mother who is unhappy with life, her sex life that it! So she decides to take in a stripper, played by Juno Temple, in hopes to save her marriage from failing, although it doesn't work out as well as she hoped. Hahn is definitely giving the performance of her career in this film, with hard hitting acting that leaves the audience feeling like they want to give her a hug but also give her a slap and tell her to not do what she is doing and think about its consequences instead! One reason I did choose this film though was that I wanted to see Juno Temple take on another dynamic character. She seems to be an actress who can get into any character, like she is a real person and that you are looking into their lives in a documentary way, which is the exactly same way I felt about this one. I did not like her performance in this though, her character seemed to be the cause of all the trouble happening to the young family who were only trying to fix their mistakes and the fact that she didn't even seem thankful that the family were trying to prevent her from ruining her life made it all just seem so mediocre. One part of the storyline that was very uncomfortable to view was the aspect about the women's number of abortions. I wanted to stop watching the film at the point as I could not believe that they were able to laugh about something that is such a hard topic in society today. While it is a fresh insight into the world of modern women and how they feel about the topic, it was just quite an upsetting view on life and how it made out that every women would be doing that during their twenties, when it is not a true fact. But a contrast to something I did actually like in that scene is the way in which Rachel felt towards Religion, which was a very interesting outlook on life. Her reactions were always followed by a rant about how everyone reacts to religion. This in fact made me realise that the world is all about the way in which everyone reacts to the mentions of religion and I think that it was very clever for director Jill Soloway to have included this section into the film. And now on to the technical section of my review aha... The camera angles used saved this film, making what seemed very real disorientated in an artist manner. The camera angles were like someone was walking around filming a person’s real life, which is ironic as everybody loves reality shows these days, and I was impressed that the director had mad this an artistic feature to the film. As a whole the films plot did make me feel uncomfortable and I don’t think I would watch it again but it has many qualities that a lot of films don’t touch upon and it had a very different feeling to it, that I think was the reason that this film did so well at the Sundance Film Festival!
Although that is just my review of the film! To make your own the film is being screened at the UK Jewish Film Festival on the 12th of November and to find out more information about the festival just click on the link which will take you to the festivals homepage http://ukjewishfilm.org/!

Hello My Lovely's, So I have recently been letting you all know on Twitter about all the emails I have been sending and I am so lucky to say that they are paying off :) This blog today comes from a brand new source and I hope you like it! Today has been a very exciting day for IFC Midnight as it was announced by Content that they have picked up the US theatrical rights to the sequel of 'The Pact', named 'The Pact 2', which will be written and directed by Dallas Hallam and Patrick Horvath.
The film will star new and familiar faces including, Camilla Luddington, Patrick Fischler, Scott Michael Foster, Haley Hudson, Mark Steger and Caity Lotz, in the films follow up which is based just weeks after Annie Barlow's deadly confrontation with the horrific Killer. However in this one we will all be meeting June, a woman whose life is so carefully planned out, yet unaware of the terror she is about to be faced with in her waking life. 'The Pact 2' will be the third film from producer Ross M. Dinerstein, who seems to be very excited about the prospect of the film as he told the public, "Dallas and Patrick did a tremendous job taking the world of THE PACT to the next level, and we are thrilled that IFC MIDNIGHT is back to distribute. THE PACT 2 will satisfy fans even more than the first one." However he wasnt the only one who was excited as president of IFC Entertainment, Jonathan Sehring stated, 'We are so thrilled to be working with our friends at Preferred Film & TV and Content on the sequel to The Pact. It's exciting to forge a continuing partnership with such a talented team.’ I am sure many horror fans will be overjoyed at the announcement of a sequel to the film, just as Halloween is around the corner. I may have to have a little watch of it on Halloween to see what it is all about :)
